"Ross!!! Are you seeing this!!!" I yelled. He came out and his eyes grew
to the size of saucers.
The weather had been erratic all evening. It was raining, sleeting, snowing,
and then would warm up and become absolutely clear. The wind was very
powerful that evening, and a clear electrical charge could be felt outside.
I watched the biggest and most dramatic cloud formations come in from the
west as the sun was setting and had even pointed them out to Ross. Ross has
been the one person at this point who was still not entirely convinced that
there were any anomalous craft over my house. He had previously seen
something unexplained a few weeks ago, but nothing which was definitive for
him.
The lights began to steadily flicker in our home (THEY WERE NOT
FLICKERING BEFORE THIS), and I began to feel my forehead compress gently.
Ross was trying to help Linette (my girlfriend) with a computer program when
I finally spoke up. "Hey," I said, "I know they're outside right now.
They're hiding in the clouds."
This statement was all but ignored while they continued to work away. It
registered on some level though, as Ross remembered this and brought it up
later.
After roughly fifteen minutes, Mike S. showed up at the home with his two
children. I went downstairs to help him install the new Soundblaster Audigy2
Card into our computer for future recording projects.
Ross eventually came downstairs to load his equipment into the house.
When he came back in, it was roughly 7:45 PM.
He looks at the both of us and says "Hey guys, the sky is clear." This
was actually odd for Ross. Mike and I are always looking to the sky, and
usually have to prompt Ross, who otherwise doesn't care...He's the true
skeptic of the bunch (NOT ANYMORE, THOUGH).
Mike and I didn't waste a second. We dropped what we were doing without
question and bolted outside immediately.
Mike was the first out the door, I was second, and Ross was right behind
me.
Mike immediately exclaims "Damn...look at that.", He had not even gotten
out "Damn" before I had chimed in.
"Ross!!! Are you seeing this!!!" I yelled. He came out and his eyes grew
to the size of saucers.
Sitting directly above my home was an enormous Star-like craft. Mike saw
it first and actually saw it grow from a star, to about 10 times its size.
Ross and I saw it at full size by the time we caught it with our eyes.
It sat there for roughly three seconds so that we could all clearly see
it, and then it bolted upward towards the sky.
The best way to describe how fast it actually moved was by comparing it
to "Star Trek's Warp Speed." One second you saw the craft, the next second
all you saw was a line in the direction it moved, and then, it was gone." It
appeared to sit slightly southwest of our home and was as bright as the
sun...literally.
Ross, Mike and I all began screaming (sheer amazement), and then ran
upstairs to tell Linette. Linette is quite accustomed to seeing crafts,
therefore, she affirmed the situation, and returned to working on her
homework.
Ross and I decided to go for a walk to check for other crafts while Mike and
Linette continued to work on their respective items.
